Nehru Savarakr were not only educated but great qriters too. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and in rceent days Aadavani is one of those who is educated and can write well.

Degrees alone don't make a man wise. Judging from what Varun said in his provocative speech, he seems to be an unrefined and an uncultured person. He has used Raj Thackray's route to get popular. If he or Raj Thackray are to become leading leaders of India, then God have mercy on India. His cousin, Priyanka gave him a good advice to read Gita. Perhaps then he would understand that inciting hatred against one or two communities is not Dharma. Nothing wrong in going after anti-social elements and extremists but to spit venom against a whole community is definitely not Dharma.

In the case of Feroze Gandhi, even the claim, made on his behalf by others that he is a Parsi itself is fake. Feroze's father is said to have converted to Islam. Then how can his progeny be anything other than Muslim?

At least some qualification,unlike no /negative (dis)qualification by most of the politicians now. The most important qualificatin for him is that he is from GANDHI family(though owned or not).

One would like to know from which source Mr.Nagaraj learnt that Jawaharlal Nehru wrote the ICS examination. The fact that Nehru's book Glimpses of World History is an outstandding book is enough to prove that Jawaharlal Nehru was a fully educated man. There were many outstanding intellectuals (Indians) who never bothered to sit for the ICS examination. I belong to a generation that has seen ICS officers in action. Not all of them were really educated in the sense of having wisdom. ICS exams were introduced to select young persons who were prima facie suited to be trained to govern India to the advantage of the Britishers. Is Mr.Nagataj aware that an ICS officer was convicted for mis-using his official position and that while he wrote the Jail Manual! One may not approve of Nehru's politics or may not like his grand children or even his daughter. But none can question Nehru being an educated Indian.
