Let us not damage the one institution in this country which is fair and unbiased by writing this type of article against the Supreme court.Today there is no democracy in the country with a party being in power by indulging in 'cash for votes'.But for the intervention of the supreme court A.Raja would have still continuesd as a minister. As for Modi case is concerned, the supreme court is right in sending it to the trial court with so much investigation data available.

"With the sudden termination of its monitoring, the apex court has in effect left it to the complainant to figure whether Ramachandran’s assessment has been duly considered by the SIT while chargesheeting or dropping those named in Zakia’s complaint. Such abdication of responsibility on the part of the apex court may lead to at least one unintended consequence. The upcoming trial may land the Supreme Court’s amicus curiae in the witness box!"

Manoj Mitta makes an excellent point. The Supreme Court should have been willing to cross the Lakshman Rekha in the Modi case and should not have opted out of its monitoring function.

Now does he?

Just couple of days back, activists were celebrating the verdict, declaring it as a victory, saying it had gone beyond what they had asked or expected.

And now they are sulking. Was that false bravado?

And does the fault lie with the SC or with CBI. Have Mitta, or any of his lackeys here bothered to consider, that the issue might not be SC, but the differential investigation by CBI? If the investigation was thorough in Gujarat's case, but indifferent in 2G (understandable, since they work for the "bugger" PC), that should get reflected in the verdicts.

Now our psudos came all the way down to assigning motive to the courts.
Sometime just saying "I was wrong" is much better than writing such garbage.

There are several NGOs to follow up Modi's case and hence the SC need not cross the Lakshman rekha. But  the 2G case may die , if the SC does not go beyond Lakshman Rekha.   Both UPA and NDA will be happy ,if 2G case dies.Particularly  Finance and Telecom ministers of both of the governments will be happy .

The sickulars thought verdicts could also be bought thro' petro-dollars. This is just the beginning. Wait till we hear abuses like religious nuts and stuck pigs flying around.

Glad to know that SC is more concerned about ensuring fair trial than making the succus happy.

"the apex court showed more concern about ensuring fair trial than about making the Modi regime accountable for the Gujarat carnage"

What a dimwit. If the objective was to hold the Modi regime accountable, come what may, why have this hogwash of investigations? Simply request the court to pass a verdict without trial!!

Aren't the Teesta and Bhatt gangs happy that court went a 'few steps beyond' what the sickulars requested. Going by the recent spate of articles in TOI, it seems to have turned sickular too. Good Luck.

"In the span of a fortnight, the Supreme Court has come up with conflicting approaches to corruption and communal violence. While it has been goading the CBI to spare none of the culprits in the 2G scam, the apex court showed more concern about ensuring fair trial than about making the Modi regime accountable for the Gujarat carnage."

DO we need to read this article after such a blatant show of bias ? If the left libs and sickus want the Apex court to hold governments responsible for the riots etc. and NOT to ensure a fair trial, good luck to them.. Obviously, this ranting is based on their own assumption that the Modi administration is directly responsible and so trial is NOT NEEDED. All they need is the Judgement, and that too in favour of them and their ideology..

The difference is all there to see.. The CBI works under the central government and when it was clear that the CBI was not doing its duty, the court intervened and started monitoring.. If the court felt the same about SIT, it would have done so.. But since it did not, we can safely assume that it was satisfied with the working of the SIT and the reports both by the SIT and the Amicus .. Now the sickus can go and bang their heads somewhere.. who knows, they may accuse the SC judges to be RSS agents or Hindutva agents..

Yes. After Gujrat HC, now SC has turned "Sanghi". The seculars are having really bad days now. That is reason every tom dick and harry comes and questions the SC verdict if it does not suit their bias. These guys have no clue how the court functions and has no legal expertise, but that does not stop them from criticising SC.

The differece is marked. Riots anywhere in the world are difficult to be controlled and Gujarat is just one of it. The fact that roits has happened has been established. All that needs to be established is the involvement of Mr MODI which can happen only if trails begins and it has to commence at lower courts.  Judicial proceedure in lower courts can not be supervised by SC.

But in 2G SCAM the UPA Govt "refuse to accept the SCAM" and has been dragging their feet to prevent investigation. PM had given "character cerificate" to Mr Raja who is in jail and now is giving "character certificate" to  Mr Chitambaram. Once the SCAM has been irrefutebly established, SC will let go and allow the case to progress in lower court.

The fact is "some one LOOTED the nation, most in UPA knew it was happening, some kept quite to get reelected from Tamil Nadu as he can not win with only Congress vote, (he managed to get elected with a thin majority of 3000 vote and became HM), some remained quite to retain the PMship".

The Modi brigade seems to be out in full force to lynch Manoj Mitta! It is as if they are so surprised to learn that judicial processes in Modi's Gujarat need a lot more monitoring than elsewhere!

The stuck pigs are unable to understand that Gujarat needs a lot of monitoring, but for different reasons. Without monitoring, CBI and the foreign and UPA funded liars like Teesta might level baseless charges against Modi. Remember false stories of a pregnant woman's womb being cut open?

2G OTOH, requires equally active monitoring. The reasons are entirely different though. CBI is actively trying to save the accused. MMS has publically stated that he shall defend his ministers, instead of the truth.

India's Mitta's can discover, invent, manufacture "equivalence" as often as necessary for the Great Cause. He is supposed to be an expert on legal matters. Note this:

SC's Lakshman rekha comment was in the case filed in SC by Swamy asking SC to instruct CBI to probe Chiddu. So SC is saying they will decide if Probe is to be conducted or not, and in case they decide to do so, they have they right to monitor the probe as well.

In case of Gujarat riots the SC has already done that i.e. SIT was instituted on SCs order to Probe the case. After the probe was completed, SC sent the case back to the trial court.
In SC decides to get Chiddu probed and if consequent to completion of such probe, it orders that Chiddu be made an accused, then only one could say that SC has acted differently. In fact Swamy plans to cite the Gujarat case as a precedent in his case at SC.

Of course blatantly prejudiced Mittas won’t tell you that Swami has filed a case in the trial court also where he wants Chiddu to be made a co-accused!! Right it is the TRIAL COURT which will decide whether Chiddu should be subjected to a trial or not, exactly as it will in Gujarat Riots case. In both cases if the complainant is not satisfied by the trial courts decisions, it can go to higher courts.

But we know the SECULAR Cause is above  petty considerations of truth, justice, honour. Don't forget that more often than not, it is in the interest of Secularism, that institution of this country have been subverted,  defamed, maligned by the Secular party.

Manoj Mittal is CON stooge and scambag who twists arguments. He is using the same trick of communalism to get the CON gandhi DIE-nasty off the hook.

The communal, facist SCAMBAG SOCIALISTS who are getting cut in the UPA CORRUPT regime bring up issues like Bharat mata picture, Bahrart mata ki jai slogan,  Vande mataram or destruction of Parlimentary democracy, supremacy of Parliament to counter Lokpal or anti-corruption laws and do every thing save the CORRUPT GANG and CORRUPT means. This is because these crooks are getting a cut in the SYSTEM.

SC monitored SIT investigation. Now that report is submitted, lower courts will take that into account to process the law. SC does not monitor lower courts. The petitioners can go to the higher to court to reverse the judgements.

SC is monitoring 2G SCAM of the SCUMS because the investigation is going on and CBI is not an independent agency. They have proven again again they are manipulating and not pursuing the truth. They have to be monitored during the process.

What is this scam supporter trying to do here?

His objective is simple. Cast aspersions on the SC and repeat it again and again in the CON media and scum SCOIALIST LOOTERS. SCARE THE SC and make them back off. Bring communalism into corruption issue again and communalize and destroy SC in order to save the CON DIE-nasty.

No wonder Anwaar types love and come to his support.

Manoj Mittal,

Just, answer 1 question - 2G spectrum - is it a federal/central or state issue?

You've no idea on jurisdiction of Federal and State boundry.  Learn and understand it first, and then write, and then you might want to appeal in SC for future accuse of 2G who will be in Tihar (PC, your damad etc .. )
