Moral of the story: calling another one Nikkamma does not make you Kam Ka and calling another one weak does not make you strong. And the nations owes you an explaination on why are you running away from the responsibility of being opposition leader when you were so despereate to become the PM Mr. Advani

BJP is unlucky and weak in reading people's mind.People of India has not done justice with L K Advani. He is a great leader. I can't understand why people have obsession with white skin. NDA rule was far better than UPA. Result is shocking. I doubt wisdom of people.

Yes its a fact the NREGA and FARM loan waiver for the AAM aadmi got congress glory. When are the educated radicals going to acknowledge that the government which delivered won.I am confident that the UPA will go on and provide 150 days work under the NREGA to the landless poor. The BPL families must be given wheat at 3 per kg as promised by the UPA chairperson. The IT industry must be given incentive to grow. The country must be vigilant against extremists whosoever he may be.WISH SONIA AND DR SINGH WELL.

Kudos to the people of India for having brought in a potential stable government. A government that will not have to depend upon the idisyncracies of smaller fragmented segments of parties. Go Congress and bring glory to the nation. And for God's sake, don't bring the curtains down on reforms and the world...

The people of the country had voted very intelligently by keeping out small parties out as their shops of bargain and blackmailing big parties are closed.
I congratulate the people of India.
It is clear that people had started thinking in term of two party system.
I see a great future of India

The credit or this UPA victory is not necessarily due to campaigns of Rahul and Sonia as well. I am pretty sure the schemes like NREGA, RTI and others which tried to bring about transparency, accountability and improvement in livelihood of the people's lives had an important role to play. And may be the BJP can take note of that and start focussing on such issues rather than Hindutva or development of highways.
In other words, BJP lost because they put the argument that the resources obtained from growth should be invested only in further growth; Congress won because they put the resources obtained from growth partially in further growth and partially to improve the lot of the poor. The results are there for everybody to see.

RJD and LJP created disaster for UPA by sailing on their own in Bihar. Been together, the UPA tally could have crossed 272.

Everything has gone right for the Congress. They have held their own in the states where they are the incumbents (New Delhi, AP, Maharashtra, Rajasthan), have made strong gains against the Left in Kerala and WB (ensuring that they dont have to choose between the Trinamool Congress and the Communists), have held their own with DMK in TN (so they don't need to choose between Jayalalitha and Karunanidhi) and done brilliantly well (to the detriment of Mayawati) in UP (ensuring that they don' have to choose between the SP and the BSP). An amazing run of the tables indeed.
Hats off to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. For once, they will have earned the prize by slogging for it, rather than having it handed to them!
