After Shri Ramadoss, the new health miister Ghulam Nabi Azad too is making news. He is reported by PTI as saying:

“If there is electricity in every village then people will watch TV till late night and then fall asleep. They won't get a chance to produce children. When there is no electricity there is nothing else to do but produce babies."

Uh, oh. He has perhaps not been talking to the likes of Ms Sushma Swaraj and others who could educate him all about the corrupting influences of such channels as FTV and the like.

You are missing the point Mullah have problmes with family planning in countries where they are in minority and are leaving no sotne unturned to change that into majority. There is a term in their scripture Kasharat-e-aulad that's what they believe in.

Fact go anywhere muslims' birth rate comparatively are always higher than the rest of population.

BTW in Europe there is huge probolem of changing demography .

They could have just begun by a door-to-door free contraceptive distribution for people who either have no knowledge about them/or not enough money or inclination to buy them.

Muslims may or may not be practicing birth control, but Muslims are not killing the female babies in utero .

It is amazing that the Mullahas, at leat some of them, should make noises about family planning being against Islam, while predominantly Muslim countries like Bangladesh and Indonesia have family planning as a national agenda. Unfortunately it is poorer section of the Muslims who fall prey to this nonsense, the creamy layer of the Muslims are sensible enough to do what is good for the family.
