Christian Science Monitor reports that the Norwegian terrorist Anders Behring Breivik's 1518-page manifesto mentions that he acquired some 8,000 e-mail addresses of  "cultural conservatives" not just across Europe but North America, Australia, South Africa, Armenia, Israel, and India – ensuring scrutiny of anti-Muslim groups far beyond Europe.

Noting that Breivik’s primary goal was to remove Muslims from Europe, the CSM points out that "his manifesto also invited the possibility for cooperation with Jewish groups in Israel, Buddhists in China, and Hindu nationalist groups in India to contain Islam":

"It is essential that the European and Indian resistance movements learn from each other and cooperate as much as possible. Our goals are more or less identical," he wrote

According to the CSM, in his manifesto, Breivik references India dozens of times.

He included a five-page paper written by a man named Shrinandan Vyas that argues the Muslim invaders committed a “genocide” of Hindus in the Hindu Kush region of present-day Afghanistan. Efforts to track down Mr. Vyas have failed.

The article relating Anders Breivik(crazy gun-man) from Oslo to the right wing Hindu movement seems to be written with the intention of discrediting Hindu pride and history more than discrediting Anders Breivik or the right wing here in India.

Taking potshots at someone like Golwalker for reminding us of the "actual" history of India is very easy thanks to the overruling of historical evidence with a high-handed use of Academic & Media-Power by vested interest... but to suggest that Hindus being subjugated in their own land (from the time of Mohammad Bin Qasim to the Muhammad of Gazni & Ghor's , from the Mughals to the British to the very present Pseudo-secularists politicians) as a laughing matter is nothing less than a sacrilege!

As for secularism in this country,as per FACTS the 42nd amendmenet of constituiton in 1976 added the word "Secular" in our constitution. The founding fathers of our nation didn't even seem to care to put the word " secular" in the  preamble to the constitution at the time of independence because they knew for a fact that a Hindu is a born secularist.
Yet his benevolence is mistaken for his submission to forces hell bent on destroying the HIndu identity of our land and people. It is the anger against these "morally corrupt forces" that has led to the rise of right wing Hindu movement.
The magazine should stick to its job which is of reporting the facts & not try to tell people how to think on subjects, leave that to the Philosophers. I know there is a dearth of them these days but hell there are still a few who are a lot more qualified and suited for the job than a reporter or a magazine!
